About the Artist:

Haiven Sellers is an 19 year old American singer/songwriter and graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy. She discovered her passion for music at the age of nine when she began learning violin. After moving to Long Island, she joined the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of New York as both a violinist and violist, and performed with the group for four years at venues such as Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall.

In high school, Haiven learned to play the guitar and piano, and quickly began composing her own songs. She began performing professionally at the age of fourteen at small venues across Long Island. When the opportunity arose for her to attend Interlochen Arts Academy, she leapt at the chance. She graduated from IAA with High Honors with Distinction in May 2021. Haiven released her debut folk album, “Vivid”, on July 16th of that same year. In the summer of 2021, she toured across Michigan with fellow Interlochen alum Breezy Love.

After completing her first tour, Haiven moved overseas to attend the Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts to continue her studies in music. During her studies, she began working with songwriter and producer Harry Paynter, and released her debut single as an indie pop artist, "Everything Sucks" on February 10th, 2023. The upbeat single and accompanying music video gained some traction in the Liverpool music scene, being featured on Existential Magazine and BBC Introducing.  Haiven released her second indie pop single, "H.O.T." on June 16th, and completed her second Michigan tour with fellow Interlochen alum LORRYNNE and Bella Wright in July 2023.
